  1. Kathleen Scott says:

    Dear Mia,
I can’t tell you how much it means to me that you are fasting for our friends in Darfur. My daughter is KTJ Scott. I know both you and she risk your lives to visit the camps and bring attention to the genocide and ongoing humanitarian atrocity. I hope that you will soon be able to turn your efforts to the Darfuri’s recovery.

The very survival of our humanity depends on our ability to become a loving species. You are one of the few willing to use their public voice to demand action and hold accountable those who can make sweeping changes.

We will need the ancient farming knowledge of these beautiful people to help us all survive the damage we have done to this planet. I am convinced that their special ability to develop sustainable farms under the worst drought conditions will be needed to feed us all sooner than we think.

Thank you for your commitment, your actions, and your heart. You are a role model and a hero.
    Courage and Love,

  2. Dear Mia –

Just sending lots of good thoughts across the ocean your way. May you find the strength to carry on, may the world come to its senses, and may peace and prosperity return to Darfur sooner than we thought.
