PEOPLE IN DARFUR ….. ALWAYS GUY MAYNARD FROM LAS VEGAS
Dear Mia, thank you for caring. I hope the world will start to awaken and put a full stop to this terrible suffering. What a shame that all the worlds governments really care about is saving the Banks. I am a nurse and I believe that at last you have bought notice of this to the media and you must stop now before you damage your health beyond repair. You are truly a good humane being. THANK YOU and much love. Let Richard Branson take over from you now.
6Dear Mia, I’m going to start fasting immediately. Thank you for reminding us that we have a responsibility. Aloha from Kauai.
7I will join, not starting today as I’ve eaten. I will start tomorrow. I would love a T-Shirt to wear for the cause!
8mia…thank you for your tireless effort, now it is time for me to step up…after reading the first line my stomach jumped and i knew it was my turn to join in the fast for basic human freedoms that we throw away everyday….
i’ve heard about the darfur, but it took this for me to at least read past the word darfur…now i know what is so important that a woman would stop eating for…a cause i will stop eating for too…
God is with us….
peace
9Mia…….Your tireless efforts and steadfast determination is such an inspiration. My heart has been with you and the people of Darfur forever. I too will support your fast!
10Thank you Mia. Your good deeds has not gone unnoticed.
11You are all an inspiration to these people in Darfur. It is really sad that the governement doesn’t step in for their people and try to aid them. I will begin my fast tomorrow as well and hope more people can join in to see how these people have no choice as to when they’ll eat again. Thank you for all the work you do and to all of those who are willing to help another country!!! Much respect

Mia, it is so wonderful to know that there are people like you who care about the sufferings of this world and make an effective effort to help to the extent that you. I am going to join the fast asap. Blessings, Angeline Garris
17I will join in the fast. I will begin tomorrow. Will keep you posted how many days I make it This is outrageous that the world keeps turning its back on so many.
18Mia, I have been following a supporting SaveDarfur.com for a few years now and I think every little act we do, especially in solidarity helps. Spreading the word through email, signing petitions, letters, wearing a SaveDarfur T shirt, going to rallies, donating when I can. It all adds to our collective consciousness of what other human beings are going through and sometimes makes a difference as the women in Liberia did in 2003. Thank you for taking a courageous lead in this struggle. I’m going to start my fast on Sunday and use the time I would’ve taken to eat and prepare food to pray love, strength and healing into the life force that I believe connects us all.
19We are to fast and pray for Darfur every evening in our fellowship and if possible invite us to hold a joint prayer together.

23“Fasting Until End Disaster And Crisis ..Love Darfur “
24I hope more and more people join it. Let’s invite all we can.
25I will fast because access to food and water is being used as a weapon of mass destruction by the Government of Sudan against its own people. Millions are purposefully being deprived of food, water, shelter and/or medical care by the Government of Sudan in a campaign of death by attrition. Men, women and children die as the United Nations occasionally debates how best to negotiate with a wanted war criminal or, worse yet, attempts to justify its inaction by equating Sudan’s repeated and systematic campaigns of death against its people with rebel violence. In Darfur, in Abyei, in South Kordofan death comes first to some by literal fire, by bullets and by bombs, and second and slowly to many more by dehydration and by starvation. Sudan is a country of many people ruled by force; one country ruled in tyranny, its people reduced to begging from an indicted génocidaire, veritably from their murderer, or their brothers’ murderer, or their mother’s murderer, or their cousin’s murderer, for the right to live free from the rapes and killings that follow Sudan Armed Forces wheresoever it goes, for the right to eat and to drink, and to safely shelter. Who would live this way? What American would tolerate its government killing her neighbor? Who would beg food from that killer year after year? What just international body would beg permission to feed those that killer starves? Who has a responsibility to protect those victims, if not the just? A killer is a killer. He has no moral compunction. When the just abdicate responsibility for the innocent to the deadly penchants of the guilty, they too become not only foolish but guilty and, therefore, unjust. ENOUGH! END SUDAN’S GENOCIDES! FEED AND PROTECT SUDAN’S PEOPLE!
