Great message from Peter Gabriel. I am interested in knowing what you think about Dambisa Moyo who is currently promoting her concept of “Dead Aid”; that is, she believes that this kind of action does not work and only economic policies can change poverty in Africa.
Peter Gabriel is on to something that needs to be worked out in finer detail. It has to do with the interconnectivity brought on by the internet. However, the outcomes are not clear, but if there is increasing activity like shared fasting and other compassionate interventions, the yet unknown will emerge and affect some yet unknown outcome. Pragmatists pronounce something ineffective before its time. Since the economic system is in flux, perhaps economc policy can be affected by people willing to put their health on the line. Find some major corporation with interests in the Sudan and make them hurt at the bottom line. Such an act is possible through interconnectivity of the web. Thank you Peter

Thank-you and keep up the great work.
